It’s easy to make pizza night healthy with this vegan pizza. The homemade sauce is rich and flavorful. It is topped with a heaping pile of delicious vegetables. You can also sprinkle the top with nutritional yeast flakes to give it some cheese flavor.
When you are topping the pizza with vegetables use a heavy hand. Since there is no cheese the veggies add a lot of the flavor. You don’t need to stick exactly to the recipe, add whatever toppings you like. For a crispy crust be sure to put the pizza on parchment paper and then directly on the oven rack.
You can feel great about making this pizza for friends and family because it is full of healthy, nourishing ingredients. The veggie toppings are full of various vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. This recipe can also be made without oil, sugar, and salt. I love this Oil-Free Pizza Dough.
Have a healthy pizza night with this flavorful, veggie-packed pizza.
- pizza dough, store bought or homemade (see notes)
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp salt (optional)

- nutritional yeast flakes, to taste
Preheat oven to 425°.
In a small bowl mix together all sauce ingredients.
Saute pepper, onion, and broccoli over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
While veggies cook roll dough out on a sheet of parchment paper. Spread sauce over pizza, leaving a 1/2" border around the edges for the crust. Top with cooked veggies, olives, oregano, and nutritional yeast flakes.
Place pizza directly on oven rack with only the parchment paper under it. Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes before enjoying.
This Oil-Free Pizza Dough is what I always make with this recipe. If you don't have time to make your own my favorite store bought dough is from Trader Joe's.
