Vegan bacon style tempeh. Marinated in a salty smokey sauce and then cooked to perfection.
Cut the tempeh into long thin strips, approximately 1/4" thick. Mix all other ingredients together in a large zipper bag. Add the tempeh, seal, and allow to marinate for at least 2.5 hours, preferably overnight.
Heat a large, heavy bottomed skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated tempeh strips and cook for 3 minutes on each side, until golden and crispy. Serve immediately.
